Scope Setter is a bench-top tool that enables you to level your scope reticle and align the scope rings relative to true level on an actual Picatinny rail. Reticle level is extremely important for long range accuracy. In addition, having both scope ring bases aligned to an actual Picatinny rail is absolutely essential to repeatable installation on a firearm. Scope Setter can also be used to preset your clamp-on style scope level.

Excelent Product

This is a great idea. It is much handier and easier to level a scope than mounting the scope on firearm. The build quality is excellent. It appears to be machined from aluminum stock. The leveling feet work great to level the fixture.

So much easier than putting your rifle in a vise

Wish I would have found this sooner. The scope Setter is so much easier to use. The one little downside might be is you have to put it on the rifle first and figure out where you want the mount to be and how far inside the Rings to slide the scope forward or backwards. I take a thin-leaded pencil and Trace where the ring sit. After that I mounted onto the scope setter and level it. I have done three Scopes so far, and have done a quick check after mounting it on the rifle and it's level every time. Highly recommend

whoever came up with this is a genius . 15 minutes to set scope perfectly to rings . yes a bit pricey but this actually works. Now I wait for them to make one for dovetail rings . You won't be sorry for buying this .
