Scope Setter is a bench-top tool that enables you to level your scope reticle and align the scope rings relative to true level on an actual Picatinny rail. Reticle level is extremely important for long range accuracy. In addition, having both scope ring bases aligned to an actual Picatinny rail is absolutely essential to repeatable installation on a firearm. Scope Setter can also be used to preset your clamp-on style scope level.

The Scope Setter 6 is a shortened and more compact version of the original Scope Setter 8. Designed to address clearance issues with large objective lens rifle scopes—the Scope Setter 6 allows for proper mounting and leveling when low or ultra-low scope rings are used. With the original Scope Setter 8, the longer body could come into contact with the scope housing on these larger setups when lower height rings were used, making it difficult or impossible to seat the scope correctly on the tool. The reduced length of the Scope Setter 6 provides adequate clearance while still delivering the same precise leveling results as the original model.
